Welcome to Our Practice
Our practice has been a vital part of Centralia for over 40 years. Dr. Johnson is the 3rd dentist to care for our patients. He has been a resident of Centralia, and raised his family here, since 2002. In the last 16 years, Dr. Johnson has earned the trust of the community with his consistent caring for his patients and the community. Our practice has supported the community through dental education and screenings in all he schools and some pre schools, made regular donations of oral health care packs to various organizations like the Kidz Closet and Head Start. We have run dental clinics for the underserved and volunteered for the Smile Mobile. We have supported kids in 4H projects, sports teams and dance recitals. We have donated at numerous fundraisers for schools, scholarships, and hospitals. We support local causes and needs through Twin Cities Rotary. Everyone in our practice feels thankful that our patients *trust* us to help them achieve a better, healthier lifestyle. We work hard everyday to provide the best quality dental care and service so we can earn that *trust*.

General Health Monitor
Your mouth is connected to the rest of your body and can be an indicator if other health issues are present. We keep track of your vital signs and other indicators so we can help you manage your whole body health.
Implants
Most general dentists provide restoration of implants ONLY. Dr. Johnson has been surgically placing and restoring implants for 10+ years and has more experience and expertise than any other dentist in Lewis County. When your dentist manages the placement and restoration of your implants, you can expect the best results in the finished product. We can replace single teeth, multiple teeth, or entire dentitions.
Gum tissue health and maintenance
Alicia and Shar are our two dental hygienist that are experienced in helping you maintain optimum oral health. They are responsive to your individual needs and love to develop a connection with each of their patients so our office becomes your comfortable dental home.
Blended Crowns and veneers
There are a variety of materials that we use to make your crowns. We have the ability to customize your crowns to match you natural teeth or use crowns to drastically transform your smile to perfection. From tooth colored crowns that won’t chip or break to naturally blended crowns that can’t be identified, we love to create beautiful smiles!
Tooth Colored Fillings
Composite fillings have been the standard of care in dentistry for quite some time now, but when placed on your front teeth, there is a definitive skill and attention to detail in layering required to achieve a beautiful natural result. We spend the time to create beautiful results which you’ll be amazed with.
Braces and Clear Aligners
We provide you with alternatives for improving your smile. Braces will correct heavy crowding, tooth rotations, spacing and bite discrepancies. Clear Aligners will correct the smaller irregularities, without conventional brackets and shorter treatment times.
TMJ & Bite Therapy
Dr. Johnson has continued his training in treatment of jaw joint pain and therapies. Do you have pain? Popping? Limiting jaw opening? Sore cheek and neck muscles? Do you get frequent head aches? Do you have difficulty sleeping? We will help you resolve your problem and provide long term solutions to help maintain your oral and general health.
Emergencies/ and Root Canal Therapy
If you have ever had a toothache, there is no getting away from it. We’ll get you in immediately and get you out of pain. Dr. Johnson will treat most root canals to completion and has experience managing dental emergencies. We want to be your doctor you can depend on when you need us most.
Dentures, Partial dentures & Bridges
There are many ways to replace missing teeth. Because we have had over 20 years of experience in providing these services, we provide you options that separate us from the others. We have creative solutions that make common restorations, like “Dentures” or “Partial Dentures”, exceptional. We strive to exceed your expectations in function, fit and natural appearance of all work and are interested in finding the best solution for each patient., We can help you understand the choices and plan for the best results.
Conscious Sedation & Nitrous Oxide
If you have dental fear or would just prefer to be less aware at your dental appointments, we offer various levels of sedations to help. Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) has been used in the dentistry for 50+ years and is very safe for use with adults and children to ease dental anxiety. Conscious Sedation is the use of medication to moderately sedate patients so time and awareness become not a concern of the patient and helps eliminate even the greatest fear and anxiety. We have taking special training and obtained a special license to perform this method of sedation.
Digital X-rays/ Intra-Oral Cameras
We have up-graded our office to allow you to see what we see. With large screen monitor, the lowest exposure digital sensors, and intra-oral cameras, we can show you pictures and easily explain to you what we see in your mouth. Communication is as easy as just a few pictures. This helps explain treatment to get your deserved insurance benefits as well.

Marc E. Johnson
DDS – the dentist
Being a family dentist was the lifetime goal of Dr. Johnson. When he went to the dentist as a child, he was always amazed that his dentist remembered him at every appointment and that he loved to fish. This experience inspires Dr. Johnson everyday to learn more about the people he serves, besides just their oral health needs. He enjoys befriending patients and sharing experiences with each of them.
Dr. Johnson grew up in Boise, ID. He attended the University of Oregon for his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Northwestern University Dental School for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. He joined a private practice shortly out of dental school where he learned from the senior doctors many invaluable techniques. In 2002, Dr Johnson started his own practice at Twin City Family Dentistry.

Over the years, Dr. Johnson has continued to expand his education, knowledge and experience in advanced dentistry which include Root Canal Therapy, Esthetic Dentistry, Surgical / Restorative Implant Dentistry, Orthodontics, Moderate Sedation and Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Johnson lives in Centralia, WA and has raised his family here. He loves the outdoors and being productive, whether working in the yard, gardening, building something or just chopping wood. He loves to golf, fish, hike and ski at White Pass. He loves to spend time helping the community and those who get hurt on the slopes as part of White Pass Ski Patrol. Dr. Johnson’s best days are those spent with family.
Dr. Johnson welcomes all new patients to his practice and home away from home. He loves to help people learn what modern dentistry is capable of providing and helping them achieve these goals.
Shar
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Shar has been working in the dental field for over 20 years, with the last 12 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Her passion as a hygienist is to equip and empower her patients with the tools and education they need to be successful
In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling and interior decorating. But what she enjoys the most is spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
Amber
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Amber is a local girl who has spent much of her life in Western Washington, and truly enjoys the beauty of our State. She enjoys road trips and outdoor adventures with her husband, daughter, and son.
After working as a Dental Assistant in our community for 10 years. Amber decided to further her education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She acquired her Bachelor’s degree from Clark Community College in 2018 which supports her passion for patient treatment, care, and education.
Ellisa
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Ellisa has been working in the dental field since 2002 and has resided in Lewis County all her life. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Ellisa’s daily goal is to provide a gentle and thorough experience for each
Ellisa enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have two sons that they homeschool. Evenings are filled with sports and activities that keep them very occupied.
Shannon
REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Shannon comes to our office with 3 years of experience in the dental field. She is a native of Lewis County and grew up in the Chehalis area.
She graduated from South Puget Sound Community College in 2018. Shannon’s favorite part of her workday includes laughing with her coworkers and patients.
Shannon is married to her high school sweetheart of 32 years, together they have a daughter and son. Shannon enjoys spending her spare time with her family, but most of all her 5 year old granddaughter.
Diana
PATIENT ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Diana has been a valuable asset to our team here at Twin City Smiles. She has over 10 years of experience in the dental field and is Bilingual in English and Spanish. Diana is passionate to help translate when needed. She specializes in patient accounts, insurance billing and coordinating dental treatments to fit our patients needs, desires and budget. Her goal is to ensure each patient is provided with exceptional customer service.
Her passion is spending time with her 12 year old daughter. In her spare time she loves dancing, traveling and spending time in the outdoors.
Sherri
PATIENT CARE SPECIALIST
Sherri is the first friendly face you see when you enter our practice. Checking in patients, answering the phone and making sure our schedule is efficient. She has been part of the team here at Twin City Smiles since January of 2020, but has over 20 years of experience in the dental field working in both, the front and back office. Patients enjoy having her help them in the front office as well as chairside with Dr. when needed.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, but especially her 24 year old son. Sherri’s favorite season is summer, and she likes to spend as much time as she can in the sunshine.
